A shim is used during the assembly and adjustment of molds, where even the slightest differences are not tolerated, to adjust the precision of the molds and greatly contribute to improving accuracy. The shims provided by Toyama Plate are produced using a high-precision laser processing machine with a beam diameter of 40μ. This laser processing machine enables the accurate fabrication of complex shapes and fine dimensions that are difficult to achieve with conventional cutting processes.
